The Bucknell Humanities Center is especially committed to the intellectual development of our student body, and we are excited to support student research, programming, and professionalization.
Funding
Student Research Grant
Up to $1,500 per project to support students engaged in research projects in the humanities and humanistic social sciences. Funds may be used to purchase books, materials, or software, supporting travel to conferences or area resources, bringing a speaker to campus, engaging in a service-learning activity, or similar.
Faculty–Student Collaboration Grant
Up to $2,000 to foster collaborative research with students on projects from the humanities and humanistic social sciences.

Humanities Fellows Program
We will soon be inviting applications for a reimagined BHC Fellows program. Fellows will enroll in a 1/4-credit course (potentially several times), attend Humanities events, meet with each other and a faculty mentor, and actively contribute to the promotion of the Humanities at Bucknell. Research in the Humanities Workshops
We are planning a series of regular workshops and events for honors thesis writers and other students working in the humanities and humanistic social sciences. Stay tuned for more information.
